Do you not realise that by passing the law to allow same sex couples to marry, you are bringing God’s wrath and judgement upon your country – upon the people your swore to represent? Do not pass that bill; do not allow same sex couples to marry; do not accept that same sex marriage is okay – because it is not. It is the legal sanctioning of an abomination to God, and that was the turning point in God’s decision to destroy the earth with a flood. Thomas said to Jesus, “My Lord and My God” (John 20:28). Jude said Jesus is our Master, God and Lord (Jude 4). Peter said Jesus is our God and our Saviour (2 Peter 1:1). It is clear by these verses that Jesus is our God, Master, Saviour and Lord. The same principle applies to the Angel of the Lord. The Angel of the Lord is distinguished from other angels and is identified with the Lord God, and in other passages, He is distinguished from God the Father, thus His deity is clearly portrayed in the Old Testament. Clearly, Jesus was the Old Testament Angel of the Lord, and now He is the New Testament Messiah. There are many prophecies about our Jewish Messiah. Many Jewish people do not know there were any prophecies about Jesus’ first coming to earth, so they don’t believe He really is the Saviour of all mankind. The Jews are most definitely God’s chosen people, chosen to bring forth our Messiah but they too must be born-again to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus was Jewish. All His disciples and the apostles were Jewish. Jesus’ family and friends on earth were Jewish. The first believing church was mostly made up of Jewish people; Gentiles joined later. Our salvation comes from the Jews. God never intended for this work of salvation, begun by a Jewish Man (Yeshua), in the land of the Jews (Israel), amidst Jewish people, in the Jewish language (Hebrew), to be lost to the Jews. How could this fundamentally Jewish religion become so non-Jewish? Because of anti-Semitism in the church. It was men who pushed the Jews out, not God. Our job as genuine believers is to put right, what has been dreadful wrongs done to the Jews. They are our brothers and sisters so we must help them find salvation with love and care. We hope the list of fulfilled prophecies regarding our Messiah will help show the way of salvation to those who are open and willing, both Jews and Gentiles alike.
