Israel’s Significance Of The Shofar Or Ram’s Horn

The shofar is integral to the Jewish people’s worship of God. ‘Praise God! Praise God in His sanctuary! Praise Him in His heavens for His acts of power! Praise Him for His mighty acts! Praise Him for His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sounding of the shofar!' ‘With bugles and sound of the shofar, make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord God’.
The coronation of King Solomon was sealed with the shofar. ‘Zadok the priest took the horn of oil out of the Tent and anointed Solomon. They blew the shofar and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon’”.
God Himself blows a shofar. ‘God will be seen over them and His arrow will flash like lightning. The Lord will blow the trumpet (shuphr) and will go with whirlwinds of the south’.
When Jesus comes for the pure church, He will come for us with a blast of the shofar blown by His attendant, Archangel Michael.

God blows a shofar and the Lamb's supper will be heralded in with a shofar. Will we hear the shofar in heaven? Only time will reveal.

We hope the reader can understand the differences written here and can understand, ungodly people think and behave differently for two reasons.  One reason is they do not know God and therefore walk in their own form of self-righteousness. WE CANNOT HIDE FROM GOD

 WE CANNOT HIDE FROM GOD We cannot go anywhere, where God cannot see us.  There is nowhere to hide from the eyes of God.  We cannot hide our sins from God either.  We need to face God when we sin, confess our sin to Him and allow His forgiveness to refresh us.  ‘I acknowledged my sin to You.  I did not hide my iniquity.  I said, I will confess my transgressions to God and You forgave the iniquity of my sin’  (Psalm 32:5).
