 DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CONVERSION AND REPENTANCE


The two groups of people we will be discussing in this article are the never saved unconverted, non-believers and then the backslidden formerly converted people who once believed and knew God then turned away from Him. 

Both groups need to repent but on a different level. 

Initial repentance and conversion are vastly different from the repentance of backsliders.

We hope the reader can understand the differences written here and can understand, ungodly people think and behave differently for two reasons.  One reason is they do not know God and therefore walk in their own form of self-righteousness. They are spiritually lost and need salvation.  They are spiritually deaf so they cannot listen to God’s Word.  The other reason they oppose Godly people is they are walking in the footsteps of their father, the devil.  Jesus said, “Why do you not understand My speech?
