JUDAS ISCARIOT

Image
JUDAS ISCARIOT The first mention of Judas Iscariot makes it clear to all, he was a traitor.  Judas and the other eleven apostles had more opportunity to accept Jesus and the salvation message than any other group on earth, at any time on earth.  They learned a tremendous amount about the Messiah, what He came for, angels, the Kingdom of heaven, the evil side of the spirit world and our authority over them, and a host of other things but Judas never truly accepted Jesus or the salvation message.  ‘He was numbered with us (apostles) and received his portion in this ministry’ (Acts 1:17). Jesus is God and as God, He knew Judas was never going to accept Him, He knew Judas was going to betray Him and would be paid thirty pieces of silver for his trouble, and He knew that betrayal would lead to His arrest and death, but Jesus chose Judas as an apostle anyway.  ‘Jesus said, "Did I not choose you twelve and one of you is a devil?"  He spoke of Judas t...

WHAT GOD THINKS OF FOOLISH PEOPLE

Image
WHAT GOD THINKS OF FOOLISH PEOPLE When sin entered the world, everything became distorted and corrupted then the Lord had to pull a spiritual veil over the eyes of mankind to block divine knowledge and wisdom.  ‘God will destroy … the covering that covers all peoples and the veil that is spread over all nations’ (Isaiah 25:7).  The spiritual veil caused unbelieving people to become foolish and sometimes quite stupid and can only be removed if we give our lives to Jesus then the way we live our lives should be a mirrored reflection of God. OTHER DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM

Image
OTHER DESCENDANTS OF ABRAHAM Most of the Hebrew people who merged with Arabs and other tribes many centuries ago were evil, full of idolatry and lived by the sword.  Like Ishmael, they were like wild donkeys – obstinate, aggressive and stubborn.  Today, the descendants of those Hebrew/Arab people still live all over the Middle East and still live by the sword – and their guns, and are still like wild donkeys – obstinate, aggressive and stubborn.  Like their ancestors, they are still wrathfully jealous of Isaac’s descendants, the children of Israel. GOD CHOOSES AND ANOINTS PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT

Image
GOD CHOOSES AND ANOINTS PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT Many people are called to have a deep, holy relationship with God and there are millions who are close to the Lord, serve God and who live normal lives but only a few are chosen to be set aside for one special, specific purpose.  They are genuine disciples who live their lives in the shadow of the Almighty.  When the Lord chooses a special servant, the person He chooses is often considered a social outcast like Mary Magdalene.  Chosen people have a special anointing and deep knowledge of God others do not have.  See more at: www.bibleabookoftruth.com

PROSPERITY TEACHING IS CONTRARY TO SCRIPTURE

Image
PROSPERITY TEACHING IS CONTRARY TO SCRIPTURE There is an unfortunate teaching in modern Christian churches that tells us every Christian should be prosperous and wealthy, and if we are not, then there must be something wrong in our life or something wrong with our walk with God.  That teaching is contrary to scripture.  It needs to be pointed out, it is the love of money that is the root of all kinds of evil.  Money is not the problem, but the love of it.  Many Christians in our modern society have vast amounts of wealth and would rather pamper themselves than give to the poor and needy. RAPTURE THEORY IS HERESY NOT PROPHECY

Image
RAPTURE THEORY IS HERESY NOT PROPHECY This Bible study is about the modern, erroneous rapture teaching and how it ‘leaked’ into the church.  We will also explain the differences between the so-called ‘rapture’ and the true resurrection.  Jesus, John and Paul all used the term ‘resurrection’. Not once did they say ‘rapture’. It is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible.  The term ‘rapture’ is more than a misnomer – the teaching is heresy.  What is spoken of in the Bible are the first and second resurrections.  We must think logically about this; if Jesus taught us about the First Resurrection, by logic of language there must be a second resurrection.  Read more at: www.bibleabookoftruth.com

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

Image
TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding’ (Proverbs 3:5). We must learn to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and our minds; that is to lean on Him and be confident in His decisions for our lives and we must not rely on our own understanding, our insight or our senses because His knowledge and His ways are past our ability to comprehend.  Once we fully accept God’s ways are past our ability to find out or understand, just coming to that realisation can help with a difficult situation.  Knowing that should make it easier to let go and trust God to do what He wants.  We need to be still and realise God is sovereign and He is our spiritual refuge. ‘Be still and know I am God … the Lord of hosts is with us.  The God of Jacob is our refuge’ (Psalm 46:10 & 11).
