DINAH THE DAUGHTER OF JACOB AND LEAH Dinah (meaning ‘Judged’) was the youngest of Leah’s seven children born to Jacob and was known to have been very beautiful.  It seems she was a favourite with her six older brothers because when Dinah was abducted, raped and held captive by wicked pagans for the sake of their economy, Jacob’s sons murdered the rapist, his family, every male in the city then plundered the city for livestock and goods. FACTS ABOUT CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS Christmas is as pagan as any celebration can be, and we as Christians need to stop merging Christmas with Christianity.  There is nothing Christian about Christmas.  Parents who tell their children ‘Santa’ is real are in reality, blatantly lying to innocent, impressionable children and that is sin.  Parents need to tell their children honestly, they, other family members or friends are the ones giving the gifts.  The modern Christmas is a mixture of Babylonianism, paganism, idolatry and ancient Egyptian rituals, plus a few more modern traditions and extreme materialism.  Genuine Christians should be horrified at the thought, for all their lives they have been ‘touching the unclean things’.  There is a way we can enjoy the festivities of this season, such as the holidays, gifts and family, without resorting to the paganism of it. JESUS OFTEN PREACHED ABOUT ETERNAL DAMNATION The teaching, ‘once saved, always saved’ is an incorrect teaching.  People who backslide or turn away from God after knowing Him will be rejected.  The lake of fire is also the final judgement for people who initially accept God then turn against Him.  Some Christians will lose their salvation on Judgement Day because they have either never truly repented and are therefore uncommitted, or they have fallen back into sin.  This is a very significant and terrifying fact.  People who accept God then turn away from Him will have their names blotted out of the Book of Life. EXPLAINING THE RESURRECTION When humans die our bodies of flesh will be buried, cremated or lost at sea but our soul will be resurrected and given a new eternal body that looks the same as our earthly body just like Jesus.  Tragically, despite the Lord’s every effort to save humanity not all human souls will go to heaven.  People can choose to accept Jesus and eternal life or they can choose to reject God and be lost forever.  Jesus did not come to save our bodies of flesh, He came to save our souls from ending up in the place of the damned called the Lake of Fire that burns forever, also called the ‘second death’ (Revelation 21:8).
