 RIGHTEOUSNESS AND THE LAWS OF MOSES Many of the Laws given to the Children of Israel still stand in our societies today and in fact, some countries use the Bible as a basis to draft their laws but those laws do not make people righteous.  The laws were given to show people God’s standard of righteousness so all mankind would be made aware of right behaviour, wrong behaviour and sin, but through the blood of Jesus we have been discharged from the law as a means of righteousness. ABRAHAM'S DESCENDENTS ARE BORN INTO A COVENENT WITH GOD   When we accept Jesus as our Saviour, we enter into the same covenant  Abraham had and  that is why we can be called the children of Abraham and Sarah.  This link in the Spiritual chain will continue to hold us in Abraham’s covenant for eternity, as long as we continue to walk with God.  We need to be like Abraham, take God at His word, believe in Him, trust in Him, be faithful to Him and only then can we find our identity in Him and we can truthfully say, “I am a child of Abraham by adoption.” Read more at: www.bibleabookoftruth.com

 WHAT JESUS MAY HAVE LOOKED LIKE All of mankind was created in the likeness and image of our Creator God (Genesis 1:26 & 27) and Jesus was the exact image of God (Colossians 1:15; Hebrews 1:3).  ‘The Lord God made the world and all things in it. He is Lord of heaven and earth … He Himself gives to all, life and breath …He made from one blood every nation of mankind to dwell on the surface of the earth … we are His offspring’ (Acts 17:24 to26 & 28). JESUS WAS NOT A CHRISTIAN HE WAS JEWISH  Jesus is the most famous and influential person of all people who have ever lived on earth. The disciples and the followers of Jesus while He was on earth were at a great advantage. They saw Him face-to-face, heard His voice as He taught them, they ate with Him, walked with Him, prayed with Him and embraced Him.  All Christians need to understand the absolute Jewishness of Jesus/Yeshua and not rely on Hellenistic attitudes and anti-Semitic teaching.  Jesus was never a Christian.  Our Saviour Jesus/Yeshua was born and lived as an Orthodox Jewish Man, spoke Hebrew and taught in Hebrew, was raised and lived fully within the Torah and all of the Laws of Moses, attended Synagogues and preached in them, He honoured His Jewish parents, lived wholly within the Jewish culture, prayed to the Lord God regularly and died in Jerusalem.   JESUS OF NAZARETH WAS NOT PALESTINIAN Jesus was wholly Jewish, conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born to Jewish Mary and stepfather Joseph.  His Hebrew name was Yeshua which means ‘Jah is Salvation’.  Jesus was born in Bethlehem in the Holy Land to Jewish parents of the tribes of Judah and Levi.  FAITH WITHOUT GOOD WORK IS DEAD Our salvation is by faith but our works are what gives us eternal rewards after Judgement Day. We are called to be always ready to do what is right.  ‘By grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of our works so no one can boast.   PSALM 23. THE LORD IS OUR SHEPHERD The Good Shepherd is one of the often quoted phrases in the Bible when referring to God the Father and also to Jesus our Messiah.  Jesus referred to Himself as the Good Shepherd and likens His genuine disciples, His followers and believers to ‘sheep’ and gave us a mental picture of Himself as our tending Shepherd.  By working together, God the Father was the One Who orchestrated salvation for mankind and Jesus was the sacrificial Lamb (John1:29).
