 WHEN WAS JESUS BORN? Although the coming of Jesus is exceedingly significant in the lives of humanity, the exact date of the birth of Jesus has no Spiritual significance.  We can walk with God in the fullest extent without knowing the actual date of Jesus’ birth. We must not become obsessed with knowing Jesus’ birthday.  The date of His birth has historical interest but no Spiritual necessity.  Our Spiritual walk depends on knowing Jesus personally in a heart to heart relationship, but our walk with Him does not depend on knowing the exact date of His birth.  If it was important for us to know His exact birthday, God would have told us what day, month and year He was born.   CHRISTIANS AND MODERN IDOLATRY Why does modern idolatry thrive?  Because we were created to worship the Lord God our Creator and when people reject God, they still have that innate need to worship something so they turn their worship to idols, gods, icons or anything else they find to worship.  The problem with ungodly worship and idolatry, is it slowly draws those people further and further away from the Lord Whom we should worship and adore, until their lives are so caught up with their idols they find it near impossible to turn back to God.  The rejection of God leads to rejection of our Saviour Jesus, Who is the only way to salvation. That rejection finally leads to hatred of God, hatred of being corrected or challenged and that in turn leads to hatred of Christians, Jewish people, churches and Godly people.  DIFFERING OPINIONS BETWEEN GODLY AND UNGODLY PEOPLE There are so many differences of opinion and behaviour it is impossible to list every difference. We hope the reader can understand the differences written here and can understand, ungodly people think and behave differently for two reasons.  One reason is they do not know God and therefore walk in their own form of self-righteousness. They are spiritually lost and need salvation.  They are spiritually deaf so they cannot listen to God’s Word.  The other reason they oppose Godly people is they are walking in the footsteps of their father, the devil.  Jesus said, “Why do you not understand My speech?  DIFFERING OPINIONS OF SCRIPTURAL DOCTRINE It is time for genuine faithful Christians to toughen up, unite, put aside their divisions and various religious beliefs, return to the faith-based servitude evangelism of the early Assemblies and pull together to bring a powerful united front against the evils in this world.  FAITH COMES BY HEARING THE WORD OF GOD We need to share our faith in God and in the truth of the Bible with the strength of our firm personal faith.  If we try to preach from ourselves, it will not achieve the desired result, which is the salvation of the person we are preaching to.  Salvation, or going to heaven is referred to as ‘entering His rest’.  Some people who have heard the Scriptural Gospel will definitely enter heaven but some will be rejected because of their own disobedience. THOSE WHO ARE WISE WILL UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE  Jesus has warned us through the prophets and apostles what to look for prior to His return. Daniel said only the wise will understand.  If people have given their lives to Jesus and walk wholly with Him, they will have God’s wisdom and will be taught by His Holy Spirit so they will know what to watch for.  RESTORING THE CHURCH TO ITS ORIGINALITY It was not God Who divided the church into splinters, it was the pride of so-called Christians who did that.  No church is better, worse or more holy than another.  No church has all the answers.  No church is 100% correct.  In our human weaknesses we need to face God prayerfully and ask for His guidance to see us through to the end.  Only those who endure to the end will be saved (Matthew 10:22).
