WHERE EVIL SPIRITS CAME FROM AND HOW TO CAST THEM OUT






‘There was a man in the synagogue who had an unclean spirit and he cried out with a loud scream, “Ahh! What have You to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know Who You are – the Holy One of God!” Jesus rebuked him saying, “Be quiet and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown the man down, it came out of him without injuring him. They were amazed and said, “What Word is this? For with authority and power He commands the evil spirits and they come out?’” (Luke 4:33 to 36).

We have written this Bible study for your information, solely to deal with the subject of the devil, fallen angels, evil spirits and how to take authority over them. 
There are references to evil beings scattered throughout the Bible and the scriptures describe the actions and outcomes of those evil entities. 
The devil, fallen angels and evil spirits are the wicked principalities and powers that stand before God (Job 1:6; 2:1). 
Fallen angels dwell in heavenly places causing havoc and offence but evil spirits dwell on earth causing chaos, sickness and death. 
The Lord Himself in His sovereignty sometimes uses the devil and evil spirits for His own purposes and when He has finished with them, they will be thrown into the lake of fire, the place Jesus called the eternal fire, Gehenna or Shoal, for all eternity along with the false prophet and the beast, and we will be free of them forever. 
The lake of fire was created for God’s judgement on the devil and fallen angels (Matthew 25:41). 
Before they rebelled, the lake of fire did not exist. ‘The beast was taken with the false prophet … These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur … The devil who deceived mankind was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet are. 
They will be tormented day and night forever and ever … The cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death’ (Revelation 19:20; 20:10; 21:8).
