HEALTH AND HYGIENE ADVICE IN THE BIBLE



Over four thousand years ago, God gave the Children of Israel advice on health and hygiene and if they followed that advice, they could remain healthy. 
If they disobeyed that advice they could die or be ‘cut off from the people’. 
Before the Jewish people were called Jews they were a large family of Hebrews who spoke the Hebrew language, just as they do today. 
The ancient Hebrews had no knowledge of bacteria so they had to trust the Lord for their wellbeing, but the Lord our Creator knew all about the existence of microscopic bacteria and viruses, because He created them.

New topical topic To the foolish politicians who vote for same sex marriage, we Christians must stand up and declare: In the Name of Jesus our Saviour, stop your stupid nonsense. Do you not realise that by passing the law to allow same sex couples to marry, you are bringing God’s wrath and judgement upon your country – upon the people your swore to represent? Do not pass that bill; do not allow same sex couples to marry; do not accept that same sex marriage is okay – because it is not. It is the legal sanctioning of an abomination to God, and that was the turning point in God’s decision to destroy the earth with a flood. If that does not impress you, then perhaps the knowledge that next time God sends His judgement to earth, He will burn the whole earth with fire (Isaiah 66:14 to16; 2 Peter 3:7, 10 & 12). EGYPT'S TEN PLAGUES The Pharaoh in the time of Moses was a hard, stubborn and ruthless man. His heart was very hard and the  Lord hardened his heart even more so.  He would not initially allow the Hebrews to leave Egypt but after ten  horrific plagues, the Pharaoh forced the Hebrews to flee and they took tons of gold, silver, precious stones, flocks, herds and clothing as payment for many years of unpaid slavery.  They were not slaves when they first  went into Egypt, but after Joseph died and a new Pharaoh arose, the Hebrews were then forced to be  slaves.  In spite of their slavery the Hebrews had so many children, at one point in time the Hebrews outnumbered the Egyptians.
