God does not want anyone to have a fawning attitude or to serve Him out of a sense of duty, He wants people to feel genuine gratitude and thankfulness for the fact we have been saved from a terrible eternity and in our gratitude, we are to serve the Lord to the best of our ability, with appreciation, joy and gladness.

 THE GREAT TRIBULATION HAS BEGUN ‘These people are those who came out of the Great Tribulation.  They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb so for that reason they are before the throne of God and they serve Him day and night in His temple.  God Who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.  They will never be hungry or thirsty ever again, neither will the sun beat on them nor any heat trouble them for the Lamb Who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of waters of life. TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding’ (Proverbs 3:5). We must learn to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and our minds; that is to lean on Him and be confident in His decisions for our lives and we must not rely on our own understanding, our insight or our senses because His knowledge and His ways are past our ability to comprehend.  Once we fully accept God’s ways are past our ability to find out or understand, just coming to that realisation can help with a difficult situation.  Knowing that should make it easier to let go and trust God to do what He wants.  We need to be still and realise God is sovereign and He is our spiritual refuge. ‘Be still and know I am God … the Lord of hosts is with us.  The God of Jacob is our refuge’ (Psalm 46:10 & 11).
